THE LETTERS OF SENIORS

There were nearly two hundred letters sent to Senior Konecny by other bishops which, regarding the amount and nature of the information, makes up the most significant part of the find. Most letters (76 letters) were sent by Jan Lanecky, the bishop and a judge based in Prerov; the writer of 70 letters was Matej Cyrus, who represented the Unity of the Brethren at the Utraquist Consistory and who was also a preacher in the Bethlehem Chapel.
